Two Magical nights of Music

VAM Harp Fest – Vancouver Academy of Music – November 19, 2022

UBC Choirs & UBC Symphony Orchestra – Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem – December 03, 2022

The ability of music to maintain a mood was something my family and I had the chance to observe, hear, and be captivated by.

After performing the prelude music for the VAM Harp Fest on November 19, 2022, my niece Charlene joined the UBC choir in a concert at Chan Shun Concert Hall. The performance lasted for 70 minutes. Since I'm not schooled in music, I was perplexed as to why there wasn't applause after each set, they performed. So, when I questioned my niece about it after the performance, she responded,
"The entire Requiem is one composition."

While watching the performance, I listened to songs whose lyrics I was unfamiliar with and came to appreciate the range of voices and instruments utilized in songs. I'm happy that I found the time to watch these two various shows.

We possess the willpower to decide on and experience what brings us joy.

Which genres of music do you like to listen to and dance to?
