Friendship and Social Media

Susan is a dear friend of mine. We started as roommates in Manila and we came a long way since our Viejo days. Seeing her holding my first novel and posted it on her Facebook page made me tear up.

The last time I saw her was 27 years ago but we stay connected because of social media. This technology has made it easy for us to keep in touch and reconnect. Time flies but our friendship never stops and I’m grateful for her support on my writing journey.

Shipped my signed copy around the World

I’m so happy that my book reached the UK, US and UAE. Even in Canada, I mailed it to Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario and even here in Beautiful British Columbia.

I will continue to embrace this writing journey and share my happiness with the world. ENJOY READING!!!

Enjoy last few weeks of summer

Summer is nearly at its end, and I am prepared to embrace autumn, my favorite season. Some people feel fall is the start of withering leaves, cold weather, and lots of rain in Vancouver, but I always thought autumn was the start of reflection and reevaluating my life journey. As the leaves turn vibrant shades…

Someone took a chance on me

Available at Steveston Bookstore, Steveston Village, Richmond Selling a book by an indie or self-published author is challenging. Most of the books sold were online or at webstores. I contacted local bookstores in Vancouver and Richmond for my 2022 book, “Revenge Mistaken,” but most had no room for it. On April 16, 2025, the release…

I made it happen

This is it! I’m finally holding the physical proof copy of my second book, “Fate Unshaken.” Now that I’ve received it, I can’t really put my feelings into words. Personally speaking, I thought I only had one published book in this lifetime, which is Revenge Mistaken (2022), available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. However,…

This is for my mom because it’s her birthday today! Happy 78th Birthday, Mommy Linda in heaven! My mom was a 5th-grade teacher, and she had a reputation for being quite strict, which made many of the students think about skipping grade 5. I saw my mom’s hard work and dedication to her teaching profession.…

A time to choose

It’s the time of the year once again when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This year gave me so many blessings, and for that I am grateful. Life is not always without challenges and setbacks. Our chance to improve ourselves is in our own hands; use it. I decided to be productive and…

Summer, then Fall

As we welcome Fall of 2024, let’s not forget the adventure we had last summer. I was fortunate to spend some quality time with my family. We explored Salt Spring Island and celebrated my brother’s 50th birthday in Las Vegas, which I promised not to visit again during the summertime. The intense heat made it…

My Pandemic Miracle

Revenge Mistaken is well travelled even before the book’s launch. At present, we have a little less than a month left before it is officially published. Though it will take up to eight weeks after publication for it to appear on retail sites like Amazon, etc.

Almost there

Hello Spring! This is the season in Vancouver that gives us more rain than sunshine, but I’m not complaining.

Let me update you about my upcoming book, Revenge Mistaken, which I’m hoping to launch this summer. We are 87% done with publication. Finally, after four rounds of revisions, I signed off, hopefully with no errors. I’m done with the pricing for paperback, hardcover, and e-book. I’m looking forward to discussing with my designer the posters for our launch and book promotion.

I would like you to join me in this life-changing moment. Revenge Mistaken is my pandemic miracle. I hope you, too, can discover your own miracle despite what we experience during this time. Never stop believing in your own magic.
